I’m a “Backstage Expert” now!

I am so excited to share with you all that I am officially a “Backstage Expert” for Backstage.com

That means I will be writing more articles for them moving forward, and my first one is out today!

It is called “How to Cope with the Broadway Closure” and shares some helpful tips to help you process this big loss.

I have been a big fan of Backstage for a long time! As a child, my mom would buy the paper copy of Backstage West (it was like a theater newspaper for the west coast). We would circle auditions together…I remember always being too tall for roles my age! Sadly the growth spurt ended in childhood and I am just average height now….

I did get some great gigs from them back in the day though, despite my height, so I think of them very fondly. It feels very surreal to have them reach out to me, and to have the honor of working with them. It feels like a collaboration that has been a long time in the making in a way!

Please check out the article and look out for my other pieces coming soon!
